Though I agree Myers is being a petard, and am deeply ashamed that he now represents my college to the world, I feel I should take issue with this. I have met the man. He is many things, but charismatic prophet is not one of them, even in the Weberian sense. Curmudgeon probably comes closest.

But then again, maybe the fact that you can be a prophet on the internet and an uninteresting/uninterested fool in real life is the most important moral to draw from this. Which is truly petarded.
